Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a move for Serbia winger Mijat Gacinovic, according to the Mirror reports.
The 22-year-old winger is believed to be scouted by Arsenal in the Serbia’s 3-2 defeat to Austria last weekend with Arsene Wenger is believed to be a huge fan of Eintracht Frankfurt’s forward.
The Red Devils were in the market for a new winger all summer long with Ivan Perisic was Mourinho’s top transfer target.
Mourinho was also exploring the option of signing Walse international superstar Gareth Bale, however, former Tottenham Hotspur star opted with remaining at Santiago Bernabeu.
The Daily Mirror report that Manchester United and Arsenal are keen on to secure the services of 22-year-old winger during the January transfer window.
Austrian TV reported that Jose Mourinho was attended the Serbia’s game against Austria to keep an eye on Mijat Gacinovic.
Portuguese head-coach was scouting Gacinovic, who is currently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt.
The report suggests that the Gunners had scouts to keep an eye on Gacinovic as well as Arsene Wenger will try to lure him at Emirates Stadium.
It is reckoned Mourinho was given the lowdown on Gacinovic by Nemanja Matic.
