West Ham United are closing in on a deal to signing Arsenal attacker Lucas Perez in a £5 million deal, according to reports.
The Spaniard was signed from La Liga outfits Deportivo La Coruna for £17m back in 2016, however, struggled to secure a regular first-team role during his debut season at the North London club.
Spanish forward has started just two Premier League games under ex-manager Arsene Wenger and was allowed to rejoin Deportivo La Coruna on loan last campaign.
According to ESPN, Spanish forward has now agreed on a three-year deal with the Hammers, with the option of a further 12-month extension.
The 29-year-old s forward is due to undergo a medical with the London rivals.
It did appear as if new Arsenal head-coach Unai Emery would give Lucas Perez a second chance as he included him in the pre-season tour.
However, the Spaniard is now on the brink of leaving, with the Gunners taking a huge hit on their £17m outlay.
The Hammers have spent big this summer after signing quality players like Felipe Anderson, Issa Diop and Andriy Yarmolenko.
Spanish forward flourished at La Coruna where he found back of the net 33 times in 96 games after some short stints at Karpaty Lviv, Rayo Vallecano and PAOK.
