Arsenal could pounce on Valencia’s financial worries by making a move for Carlos Soler this summer, according to the reports.
The 23-year-old was promoted to the La Liga giants first team back in January 2017 and he has since become a vital player for them, this term he has played 27 games in all competitions.
Indeed, the Spanish playmaker was vital as Valencia reached the last 16 of the Champions League, however, they were dumped out of from the tournament by Serie A outfits Atalanta.
According to Sky Sports News, the Gunners head-coach, Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of his compatriot and wants a big part of his Emirates to rebuild to be focused on Spanish talents like Dani Ceballos and Fernan Torres.
The Gunners hopes of a deal could be boosted by the fact that Spanish giants are looking to stay financially healthy.
Spanish publication Marca claimed earlier last month that the La Liga side need to offload £36million worth of talent by the summer in order to avoid a financial crisis.
Another player who could depart from the club to raise funds is Ferran Torres, an attacker who has been strongly linked with a switch to Anfield in the recent days.
The 20-year-old winger has already made over 60 appearances for Valencia since first breaking into the team back in 2017 alongside with Carlos Soler.
