Arsenal and Liverpool hopes of landing French midfielder target Adrien Rabiot have been boosted after the player revealed his desire to test himself in different leagues.
The Gunners have chased for several years, with Arsene Wenger is believed to be a huge admirer of French anchorman, while Liverpool bost Jurgen Klopp has also identified him as a perfect replacement for Emre Can who has one year left on his current deal.
Rabiot has now hinted, that a move to England is possible in the nearby future and he revealed that as a young kid he has supported Liverpool.
“I think I would like to experience something else [outside Ligue 1],” said the France internationaol..
“There are a lot of very good championships, it’s also very rewarding to go elsewhere.
“I would love to play in the Premier League, not necessarily one club in particular, even though I was very fond of Liverpool when I was young.”
Rabiot, in Ligue 1, has scored one goal this term, creating seven chances and assisting once. Frenchman has completed 633 passes with a pass accuracy of 94%, of which 68% forward passed.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool are desperate to strengthen their midfield options and 22-year-old Frenchman seems to be a perfect addition to both of them.
