Ligue 1 outfits Bordeaux are reportedly preparing summer bid for 26-year-old Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny.
The Egypt international has joined the North London club from Switzerland giants Basel back in 2016, and has played 88 games for Arsenal in all competitions.
The 26-year-old midfielder has signed a new deal with the North London club earlier last month, however, has struggled for regular first-team football during the 2018-19 season, leading to suggestions of a possible departure in the summer.
According to L’Equipe, Paulo Sousa -who currently has been in charge of Bordeaux coached Elneny at Basel – wants to bring the defensive midfielder to France during the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old midfielder has been restricted to just seven Premier League games this season, while he did not feature in either leg of the Gunners Europa League semi-final against Valencia and now they will face their direct Premier League rivals Chelsea in Baku.
Meanwhile, Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp has reportedly set his sights on securing services of Ajax winger David Neres who has been a long-term target for Arsenal.
The 22-year-old Brazilian attacker is one of a number of players who have shined at the Dutch giants this campaign, with the forward managed to found back of the net 10 times and provided 10 assists from 40 appearences in the Champions League and Eredivisie.
However, that has inevitably led to an interest in the South American forward, and Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United are believed to be keeping tabs on the situation.
Moussa Dembele has stressed his happiness at Ligue 1 giants, Lyon, however, has seemingly refused to rule out the prospect of making a return to the English top-tier with Arsenal and Manchester United.
The ex-Fulham forward finds himself a man in demand this summer, amid reports taht he has been targeted by Manchester United as the Norwegian’s No 1 transfer target to replace Romelu Lukaku at Old Trafford, while Arsenal also consider his transfer ahead of the next campaign.
French forward has fired home by scoring 15 goals in the French top-tier this campaign, leading to speculation that the Red Devils are plotting a £50m approach to try and tempt the French club into a sale.
The French attacker has also been touted as a possible replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could make a switch to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
However, Dembele insists that while he remains committed to the French giants, you never know what can happen in football.
“I signed for five years with Lyon and I’m happy there but we’ll see what happens,” he said.
“I’m happy to stay with Lyon next season but we’ll see.”
Dembele has joined the Ligue 1 giants in a £20m deal from Celtic, however, cunningly, the Scottish side inserted a 10% sell-on clause should he ever depart from Lyon.
The 22-year-old forward isn’t the only Lyon star on Man United’s radar in the summer; reports on Monday suggested that Solskjaer had green-lighted a £50m approach for Tanguy Ndombele.
ARSENAL have made a summer move to secure services of Valencia stopper Norberto Murara, according to the reports.
The Gunners head-coach Unai Emery is keen to add players to his squad in the summer transfer window and the North London club are in need of a new stopper for the next campaign.
German goalkeeper Bernd Leno has arrived at the beginning of the 2018/19 campaign and he settled in quickly, securing a no.1 spot.
However, departure of Petr Cech is set to leave the club, leaving the Gunners in short supply.
According to Plaza Deportivo, Arsenal boss is a huge fan of Murara and they have made a contract offer after speaking with the agent of the players.
However, the report claimed that the 29-year-old is not satisfied with what the Gunners have offered.
Murara feels he is worth more than the wages that the Gunners have tabled for his signature.
As well as that, Murara would prefer to play in the Champions League and after missing out on a top-four finish in the Premier League they only chance to participate in Europe’s most elite competition next season is beating Chelsea in the Europa League final.
Plaza Deportivo claims that despite the Gunners approaching the stopper, they are yet to make contact with La Liga giants.
Murara is contracted at the Spanish club until 2021.
Real Madrid stopper Keylor Navas is another target for the Gunners, with the Costa Rica international keeper is set to leave the club this summer.
