Calum Chambers has agreed on a two-year contract extension with Arsenal, according to the Sky Sports reports.
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Red Star Belgrade centre-forward Richmond Boakye, according to the reports from Britain.
Boakye has been in stunning form since the start of 2017/18 campaign, found the net for 10 times in 16 appearances.
And the African centre-forward’s form is believed to have attracted interest from defending Premier League champions Chelsea.
According to the Ghana Soccernet, Antonio Conte is considering a move for 24-year-old African forward during the January transfer window.
Italian head-coach has reportedly ordered his scouts to keep a close eye on Ghana international forward when he faces Arsenal in the Europea League group stage.
Boakye previously worked with Antonio Conte during their time with Serie A champions Juventus, however, he was sent out on loan twice and failed to impress Italian manager.
Ghana Soccernet adds that Red Star are ready to sell 24-year-old forward if Chelsea meet their £10m valuation.
The Former Juventus head-coach is believed to be frustrated with his lack of options at the offensive end after missing out the signing of Fernando Llorente.
Boakye has been one of the best strikers in Europe at the moment as he has scored 30 goals this calendar year.
And after failing to keep his promise as a youngster at Juventus, Boakye is happy to see his career returning back on tracks.
“When I was young like around my 20’s everybody was saying that I have talent,” he told Pulse Ghana Sports earlier this month.
“In football, we have ups and downs. Sometimes it happens, and I sat down and analysed certain things that I realised was wrong with me.
“When I went to Latina, unfortunately, I got a groin problem which took me out for four to 5 months.
“I just put my bad fortunes aside and put things in place with my personal advisor Sharaj Ahmed and we came with a solution.
“This is what is working for me now and I am following that trend.”
Serie A outfits Fiorentina’s rising star Martin Graiciar claims that Arsene Wenger wanted to secure his signature.
The Czech player is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Europe and being tipped for the big things in football.
And Graiciar has revealed that at the age of 14 Arsene Wenger tried to sign him for Arsenal.
However, the 18-year-old claimed that the injury issues prevented his switch to the North London giants.
“It’s one of the best clubs in the world,” he told Italian news outlet Calciomercato.
“I arrived in London when I was 14-years-old.
“I played with the U18 team, the U20 and with the Arsenal second team.
“After a few months of trials Wenger told me that I was an interesting player and that he thought he could sign me on a permanent deal.
“At the time, however, it was not possible for me because, under FIFA rules, a club can only sign a player after who has turned 16 years old.
“Arsenal had been following me after my injury, but they didn’t sign me in the end.”
He eventually ended up with signing a professional contract with Fiorentina, and this term Graiciar, who is deployed up front, has moved to Czech side Liberec on a season-long loan deal.
Since returning to his homeland 18-year-old starlet has found the net twice in six appearances.
Arsene Wenger is known for discovering talents and Arsenal boss might return and lure Czech wonderkid at Emirates Stadium in the nearby future.
