Arsenal sent scouts to keep close tabs on AC Milan forward ahead of summer move

Arsenal scouts have reportedly been in Italy to keep close tabs on Spanish playmaker Suso ahead of Summer.

Earlier last month Tuttomercatoweb reported that the North London club had watched the creative Spaniard during their clash against Cagliari ahead of a summer move.

And now the respected journalist Nicolo Schira reports that on Saturday Arsenal once again checked Suso in action against Chievo

It certainly seems like the Gunners have a strong interest in the Spanish playmaker, who has shone immensely since making the switch to San Siro from Arsenal’s direct Premier League rivals Liverpool.

The 25-year-old winger seems to be an ideal signing for Unai Emery’s side right now, with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi all having unconvincing 2018/19 season.

Suso would surely be a huge upgrade if he could continue to improve at this rate, despite having flopped in the English top-tier during his time at Liverpool.

Tuttomercatoweb have also rumoured Suso with a move to Arsenal’s direct Premier League rivals Chelsea in the past, stating hew would cost around €50million.

Meanwhile, North London bitter rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to go head to head to secure services of Villarreal playmaker Pablo Fornals.

Both London club are believed to have been keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window, having been impressed by his performance in Europe League and La Liga this term.

Serie A giants Napoli are believed to have already made their interest known for the 23-year old midfielder,  according to The Express, Arsenal and Tottenham may also now enter the bidding for the twice-capped Spaniard.

Arsenal and Tottenham go head-to-head to sign 23-year-old midfield maestro

North London bitter rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to go head to head to secure services of Villarreal playmaker Pablo Fornals.

However, current Arsenal head-coach Unai Emery has apparently been told the club that they have to find a buyer for German playmaker Mesut Ozil before he can make a move for Formals.

Fornals has managed to found back of the net 9 time and assists in 37 games for La Liga club Villarreal this campaign, being used predominantly in attacking midfield role.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly preparing to make a £25m bid for one of the best players of Celtic Kieran Tierney.

The 21-year-old full-back has played 160 games for the Scottish giants Celtic since making debut in 2014 and has established himself as one of the key players for the Bhoys.

The defender has a long-term contract with the Scottish giants until the end of the 2022-23 season, however, according to The Sun, Arsenal are ready to meet Celtic’s £25m asking price for the defender.

Scottish international defender, who has just recovered from a hip injury, has found back of the net five times in 15 Scottish Premiership games for his team during the 2018-19 season.

Bundesliga club are interested in signing of Arsenal wonderkid

According to the Bild reports, RB Leipzig have decided to enter the transfer race for Arsenal versatile forward Rei Nelson this summer.

Nelson is currently on loan at Bundesliga club Hoffenheim, where he has been in stunning form managing to scor six goals in 23-games and established himself as one of the key players since his move from Arsenal.

Despite his form, Nelson is struggling for consistent game time with only five starts has been on his name thus far and according to the Bild reports Arsenal wonderkid could continue his career in Bundesliga after the end of the current campaign, with RB Leipzig closely monitoring his situation.

As it stands, the plan for Arsenal is to recall Nelson form a loan spell in the summer, and it’s already been confirmed that there’s no option-to-buy the forward on loan contract.

The English sensational has been keeping his options open though, saying he will go to any team that will guaranty him playing time.

RB Leipzig already currently have the Gunners loanee playing for them, with Emile Smith Rowe has made the switch to Red Bull Arena during the January transfer window.

The Gunners prospect is yet to feature in a competitive fixture though, as he slowly returns from his knee injury. and like in Nelson’s deal there’s no option-to-buy in Smith Rowe’s contract anyway.

Arsenal rate both Emile Smith Rowe and Reis Nelson highly and unlikely to allow him to leave the club on a permanent basis following their limited transfer budget in the summer.
