The London-based outfit Arsenal and Premier League rivals Liverpool target Benjamin Pavard has reportedly been offered to the Spanish champions Barcelona, according to reports from Spain.
The Spanish nationwide daily sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo believes that the star has been offered to the Catalan side with speculation about his future rising.
The all-around defender, who rose to prominence with several stunning performances during France’s World Cup-winning campaign, has been connected with the likes of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in recent weeks.
The report states that a potential deal for Blaugrana would set the club back a cool €35 million.
Pavard has been connected with a move to Arsenal for a while and is able to play both as a centre-back or a right-back.
The right-back position has been a space that the Spanish giants have struggled to fill since the departure of Brazil international Dani Alves.
Spanish star Sergi Roberto has been used as a makeshift defender in the latest years to some success but is naturally a midfielder, as Blaugrana look to strengthen at the back.
