Arsenal have reportedly joined direct Premier League rivals Liverpool in the transfer race to secure services of Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
Polish midfielder has long been rumoured with a move to Anfield, who are believed to have attempted to secure the services of the 24-year-old midfielder back in 2016 before he eventually ended up with a move to Napoli.
However, according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, the Gunners are also keen on to land Polish midfielder when the summer transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
The 24-year-old midfielder has managed to score five goals in 34 games for Serie A giants Napoli this term, with four of those strikes coming in 25 Serie A appearances..
The creative midfielder, who represented Poland at the 2018 World Cup, will see his current deal in Naples expire in 2020/21 season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Arsenal have potentially been handed huge transfer boost in their pursuit of Spanish playmaker Isco after Santiago Solari left him out from the Real Madrid squad ahead of Barcelona game.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are both in the semi-final of the Copa Del Ray and playing the second leg clash, however, Isco has not been named in the 23-man squad for the today’s game.
According to Calcio Mercato, Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in securing the services of Spanish playmaker this summer with Isco is likely to leave the club after the season ends.
