London club are reportedly interested in sealing the transfer of Celtic centre-forward Odsonne Edouard. U21 France international has had a fantastic campaign with the Hoops so far, netting 27 goals and providing 19 assists in 45 games across all tournaments so far.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta wants to bolster their front-line regardless of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future and Edouard is someone they are interested in signing during the summer transfer window.
This report also claims that Leicester City and Everton are interested in Odsonne who is rated at £30m. Edouard has been an integral figure for the Scottish giants since joining them from Toulouse, netting 60 goals and providing 31 assists in 126 games across all tournaments so far.
Someone like the 22-year-old striker would undoubtedly be a perfect signing to Gunners squad, especially if Aubameyang leaves the Emirates. Besides if the French striker is to have a chance of making Les Bleus’s team for next summers European championships, playing in a bigger league might help.
However, Hoops will surely do all they can to keep such an important figure, even if they have had to cope with losing big names to the more established European leagues in the past.
