La Liga giants Real Madrid have dismissed speculation that they are not interested in securing the services of Adrien Rabiot from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to the reports.
Frenchman has been frozen out at Parc de Princes after refusing to sign a new deal, with his current contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
A number of top teams in Europe have been rumoured with the signing of the 24-year-old midfield maestro, but he is yet to agree on a deal and as things stand will be a free agent when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
Recent reports claimed that Frenchman has had turned down a move to Anfield in favour of joining European champions Real Madrid, with whom he was believed to have a verbal agreement.
However, Spanish media outlet Marca claims that those reports are false with the Los Blancos have never expressed interest in the 24-year-old midfielder.
The news will come as a huge boost to the Merseyside Reds, while the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the PSG star back in December.
Alongside with Rabiot Liverpool have been rumoured with signing another PSG star Thomas Meunier who has been identified as an upgrade for Trent Alexandre-Arnold.
