Tottenham Hotspur alongside Arsenal are interested in signing Joachim Andersen of Sampdoria.
The London duo are keen on signing Joachim Andersen from the Serie A club in the summer transfer window.
It was claimed that Tottenham are set to pay €25 million (£22.26m) as transfers fee for the 23-year-old this summer.
It has also been suggested that Mauricio Pochettino’s bitter rivals Arsenal are willing to cough up as much as €45m (£40.06m) for Joachim Andersen and his Sampdoria teammate and Dennis Praet.
The central defender is a very good and promising young centre-back who has done well since he moved to the Italian club in the summer of 2017.
The Dane has established himself as one of the better players in Italy, and there is no surprise that the Premier League giants are interested luring him to the British capital.
Joachim Andersen made 32 appearances in the Italian top-flight for Sampdoria this term, proving one assist in the process.
While Tottenham will be challenging for the Premier League title next year, the Gunners will be aiming to finish in the top four, and they hope that 25-year-old Sampdoria star Denis Praet will also join them in the summer.
The addition of the attacking midfielder will be a huge boost for the north London club as they are willing to sell Mesut Ozil in the summer while his compatriot Shkodran Mustafi is also in danger of leaving Emirates outfit in the transfer window alongside Laurent Koscielny.
