Arsenal and Man Utd target Elseid Hysaj has told Serie A giants Napoli that unknown club is prepared to meet his current €50million release clause.
The Albanian right-back has joined Napoli back in 2014 from Empoli in a €5m deal and since then has established himself as one of the best defenders in Serie A.
His current contract deal runs until 2021, however, includes a specific section which allows him to leave the Serie A club between June 30 and July 15 every year if someone agrees to pay the release clause
Both the Gunners and the Red Devils hold an interest in the 24-year-old and it is now being reported that an unknown club is ready to activate players release clause.
Tuttosport believes a team has revealed their intent to meet the fee and this news has been relayed to those in charge at Napoli by the player’s agent.
Meanwhile, Manchester United and Arsenal could agree on a deal for Spanish full-back Hector Bellerin who is likely to leave the Emirates Stadium after the end of the current campaign following his poor performance this campaign.
Jose Mourinho is desperate to strengthen defensive options and if he fails to lure Hysaj, Arsenal star seems to be a perfect alternative.
