Arsenal have reportedly moved to the verge of signing Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez from La Liga giants Barcelona.
There have been reports that the Norht London club are short of funds for the January transfer window, with loan agreements more likely than permanent signings.
However, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Gunners are close to bringing in the Spaniard after the 24-year-old dropped down the pecking order at Spanish giants.
Suarez has played 46 games in La Liga since moving to the Catalan club back in 2016, however, the Spaniard has featured for just 41 minutes in La Liga and the Champions League during the current season.
Arsenal head-coach Unai Emery is likely to be prepared to lure Denis Suarez at Emirate Stadium more playing time with the pair having worked together at Sevilla back in 2014/15.
The report claimed that the Premier League club will pay in the region of £14m for Spaniard’s signature.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are keeping tabs on another Barcelona star Malcolm who has struggled for first-team minutes at the Nou Camp.
