According to football.london, Arsenal are “big admirers” of Argentina international Cristian Pavón, who has ten caps for his country.
The London outfit have been continually linked with a move for the highly rated Boca Juniors winger, who has already netted two goals in four league games for the Primera Division club so far this term.
Cristian Pavón, who featured four times for his country at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia this summer, has scored 25 times in 87 matches overall for the Argentine club.
Arsenal correspondent Charles Watts has suggested that the Gunners are “big admirers” of the winger, but the journalist believes the sought after player will move to La Liga instead.
Cristian Pavón is contracted at South American giants until June 2022 and is valued at £18 million.
Journalist Watts expects north London giants new boss Unai Emery to do little business during the forthcoming January transfer window, although a new left-back is claimed to be the club’s priority.
The 22-year-old attacker was also linked with moves to several Spanish clubs and with Premier League club, who travel to Newcastle United on Saturday in the English top-flight, but the final destination of the Argentine is still unknown.
