North London bitter rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to go head to head to secure services of Villarreal playmaker Pablo Fornals.
Both London club are believed to have been keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window, having been impressed by his performance in Europe League and La Liga this term.
Serie A giants Napoli are believed to have already made their interest known for the 23-year old midfielder, according to The Express, Arsenal and Tottenham may also now enter the bidding for the twice-capped Spaniard.
However, current Arsenal head-coach Unai Emery has apparently been told the club that they have to find a buyer for German playmaker Mesut Ozil before he can make a move for Formals.
Fornals has managed to found back of the net 9 time and assists in 37 games for La Liga club Villarreal this campaign, being used predominantly in attacking midfield role.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly preparing to make a £25m bid for one of the best players of Celtic Kieran Tierney.
The 21-year-old full-back has played 160 games for the Scottish giants Celtic since making debut in 2014 and has established himself as one of the key players for the Bhoys.
The defender has a long-term contract with the Scottish giants until the end of the 2022-23 season, however, according to The Sun, Arsenal are ready to meet Celtic’s £25m asking price for the defender.
Scottish international defender, who has just recovered from a hip injury, has found back of the net five times in 15 Scottish Premiership games for his team during the 2018-19 season.
