PSG, Manchester United and Arsenal are set to be dealt a huge transfer blow, with one of their long-term target set to secure a new deal.
Reading FC starlet, Coniah Boyce-Clarke is set to sign a new three-year contract with the Championship side, putting an end to any transfer speculations linking him with a move away from the Madejski, according to the Sky Sports reports.
It has previously been rumoured by the Daily Mail, that the two Premier League giants were set to make an offer for the 16-year-old stopper.
Boyce-Clarke has regularly playing for Reading’s under 23’s side this campaign, despite still being just 16-years-old.
He has also featured for Reading youth setup in the Berks and Bucks cup in coming weeks, so he already has the first-team experience under his belt.
The highly-rated goalkeeper has picked up the Golden Glove award for England’s under 16’s side in the Val De Marne tournament earlier this year.
He is a current England U-17 youth international, who evidently has a bright future ahead of him, if the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are being rumoured with him so early into his football career.
Boyce-Clarke is one of the brightest talents in England and high-profile teams are thought to be keen on to secure his services.
This will be a huge boost for the Royals, and they’ll be hoping he can play a vital role in the future of the club that will make a promotion to the English top-tier for the next season.
