Arsenal and Liverpool have locked horns over the signing of Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven forward Hirving Lozano, according to the reports from Britain.
The Mexico international forward, who has become a regular for his national side.
Lozano has scored nine goals in his first eight games for PSG Eindhoven and has reportedly been watched by hosts of European clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal.
Lozano has found the net for 11 times in 16 Eredivisie games this campaign and, according to the Daily Star, Jurgen Klopp sees him as a possible replacement for Philippe Coutinho.
The report claims that Arsenal head-coach Arsene Wenger is eager to recruit Lozano with Alexis Sanchez likely to leave the Emirates stadium after the end of the 2017/18 season.
Mexico international forward as enjoyed three prolific years at Pachuca, his first professional club, and has scored seven times in 24 appearances for his country as well.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool are in danger to lose their key players after the end of the current campaign and Lozano seems to be a perfect long-term replacement for either of them.
