Arsenal new signing Kieran Tierney has been backed to earn a move to top teams like PSG and Barcelona should he impress at the Emirates Stadium since his move from Celtic.
The left-back completed a deadline-day move from the Scottish giants last week after a summer-long pursuit by the North London club ended in a deal is believed to be £25million.
Tierney is now the most expensive Scottish player of all time and his ex-teammate Scott Brown feels that the Gunners new full-back is capable to play on a top-level.
“You don’t know what could happen,” he told the Herald. “He could have a fantastic couple of seasons and end up at Barcelona or PSG or wherever.”
Unai Emery’s new signing has faced criticism for a section of Scottish giants supporters for making the move to the North London club, negativity which Brown struggles to understand.
“There are pictures on the wall all over the club of players who have left and everyone would wish them all the best,” he said. “They can come back as well, that’s what this cub is all about.
“I see Ajax bringing players through and selling them on – and they have a party for them leaving. We try and criticise. It’s a different level.”
