Liverpool forward Lazar Markovic was strongly linked with a summer switch over the transfer window, however, ended up staying at Anfield.
The Serbian forward has however, failed to secure spot in Jurgen Klopp first-team squad and now considering a permanent exit from the Anfield.
Markovic could make switch to Turkey in January according to the reports from Turkish media sources.
Fanatik claims that Serbian wingers agent has travelled to Turkey to negotiate Fenerbahce over Markovic’s transfer in winter.
Per the source, the Turkish giants are keen on to make a move for Markovic.
The 23-year-old is no stranger to Fenerbahce as he had previously a loan spell with the Yellow Canaries.
The Istanbul giants are expected to enter direct talks with the Merseyside Reds over Markovic’s exit from Anfield.
Markovic still has two-years left on his current deal with the Reds, however, does not appear to be in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
The Serbia international made a move to Anfield for a lofty £20 million back in 2014 from Benfica. However, the 23-year-old has failed to live up to expectations.
Markovic has spent the last campaign out on loan at Fenerbahce, Hull City and Sporting Lisbon.
