AC Milan are yet to finalise any transfers in the summer other than signing on-loan star Franck Kessie on a permanent deal for £21.6m.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have asked about the availability of Man Utd long-term target and Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, according to the reports.
The centre-back has been heavily linked with a switch to Manchester United for the last two years, with the Red Devils seen several bids turned dwon by Napoli.
Italian giants have refused to budge on their near £100million price tag and are under no pressure to cash in on the player who has turned 27.
However, the Italian outlet Il Mattino now reports that the Merseyside Reds have entered the race to secure services of Koulibaly.
