Marco Asensio’s agent Horacio Gaggioli has revealed that Champions League winners Real Madrid turned down two offers of up to £132m for 22-year-old forward.
Spanish winger has been a reliable presence for Zinedine Zidane’s side over the past couple of campaigns, making 30 appearances in La Liga and featuring 19 times in Champions League.
Asensio is rumoured to be on the radar of Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea, with reports in March suggesting that the Blues fell short with a £132m bid for Spanish attacker.
That is the same figure quoted by the players agent Gaggioli, who believes that the clubs from Premier League could offer more for his client.
“Madrid have received two offers for Marco Asensio, up to €150m (£132m), but the club rejected them,” he told Cadena SER. “He has an extraordinary future.
“You can imagine that they come from England because they can afford it without any problems. They could even raise it.”
Asensio, who has found the back of the net nine times and provided seven assists in all competitions this campaign, is contracted with the Los Blancos until 2023.
Chelsea and Manchester United are believed to be two Premier League clubs that are interested to secure the services of 22-years Spain international.
