Serie A giants AC Milan have reportedly targeted Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri and have already held talks with the agent of Brazilian defender.
The 24-year-old pacy defender has recently ousted Marcos Alonso as Maurizio Sarri’s’ regular left-back, starting each of their last three games in the English top-tier.
Brazilian full-back could be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit, however, as Calciomercato reported that his agent met with Rossoneri chiefs earlier this week to discuss a switch to Italian giants.
AC Milan are prepared to spend money this summer to restructure their squad and a £22m bid has been prepared for Palmieri.
However, the Blues are expected to knock back the offer if they fail to sign a player following their two-window transfer ban that will prevent them from lure replacement.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are interested in the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Dutch giants, Ajax this summer, according to the GGFN reports.
The West London club are believed to be among a host of the team from across the Europe who have expressed their admiration of 26-year-old attacking midfielder, who is enjoying yet another impressive season in the Eredivisie.
From 25 appearances for Ajax, Ziyech has score 15 goals. He has also chipped in with a further 15 assists in the process.
The Blues could be on the lookout for added creativity in their starting XI during the upcoming transfer window, with Eden Hazard’s future at the club under scrutiny as the Los Blancos continue to eye a deal.
