Liverpool are reportedly planning to make a summer move for AS Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo.
The 20-year-old has found back of the net six times and provided two assists in 24 games at club level this campaign, although he has been on the sidelines since winter with a serious knee injury.
Both Tottenham Hotspur and Man Utd are allegedly interested in securing the services of the versatile forward, who has been capped on five times by the Italy national team.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Merseyside Reds are also in the hunt for Nicolo Zaniolo amid rumours that AS Roma will be forced into selling some of their best players during the summer transfer window.
The report suggests that a delay in takeover talks with the Friedkin Group, coupled with the coronavirus outbreak, has put the Serie A teams in a tough financial position ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Zaniolo has managed to found back of the net 12 times in 60 games for AS Roma in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Liverpool also eyeing a move for another AS Roma star Bryan Cristante who has been also on the verge to agree on a deal for Arsenal.
