The Croatia international defender has only joined the Turkish giants in January, however, a string of impressive performances at the 2018 World Cup tournament Croatia have seen him rumoured with a big-money switch in the summer.
Reports suggest that the Merseyside Reds have already lodged a bid for Vida and the Gunners are also believed to be weighing up an offer for the experienced defender before the transfer window shuts down.
Asked about the rumours, Croatian centre-back has told Haber 1903: ‘I am always dreaming to play in the Premier League.
‘I do not know if the proposals will come again in this period. I would like [Besiktas] to make it easy for me.’
Turkish giants president Fikret Orman dropped a hint that it may be beneficial to let the 29-year-old defender to leave.
‘A player who wants to leave brings no benefits to the club,’ Orman said.
‘You must look at the interests of the club.’
