Manchester United and Arsenal target Wilfred Ndidi will not be leaving Leicester in the summer despite reports, according to his agent.
The Nigerian international has been compared to N’Golo Kante for his dominant performances at the Foxes, and netted his first Premier League goal in the 2-0 win over Stoke City at the weekend.
And there is already a fear that Craig Shakespeare’s side will face a struggle to keep the £15 million signing after another formidable performance in the England’s top Flight.
The Daily Mirror reported that the 20-year-old is being monitored by the Premier League heavyweights United and Arsenal, while Southampton and Hamburg are also eyeing a move for the highly-rated anchorman.
However, his agent has told website AllNigeriaSoccer that despite interest from a host of clubs, he will not be leaving the King Power.
“There are many unofficial approaches,” Ndidi’s agent said.
“But he is never going to leave because of the way Leicester players and coaches welcomed and treated him.
“Besides it is normal [to have interest shown].
“Southampton never pay big money for players.
“Ndidi was one of the most expensive Leicester signings and that might increase due to league points and championships.”
Ndidi, in the English Premier League, has scored one goal this season, creating four chances and one assist, he completed 329 passes this season with a pass accuracy of 74%, of which 99% were forward passes.
