Bayern Munich midfield star Arturo Vidal has revealed that it would be a ‘dream’ to play for Brazilian club Flamengo, amid interest from Man Utd and Chelsea.
The 31-year-old midfielder has found back of the net 22 times in 132 games for German champions since joining them back in 2015, however, could move on from the Bayern Munich in the coming months.
Former Juventus star, who is out of contract at Allianz Arena next seaosn, is yet to agree on a new deal and Chelsea and Manchester United continue to be linked to secure his services.
The Copa America winner midfielder has claimed that he would only leave the German champions for a team that will be capable to play in Champions League, however, has now admitted that he is interested in signing for Flamengo.
‘I like Flamengo. I’m very close to Renato Augusto,’ he told Flamengo’s YouTube channel.
‘He’s a great friend of mine and always talked to me about the club and their fans. I’d like to live that energy. Playing for Flamengo, at the Maracana, would be a dream.
‘If they want to contact me, I’m here. We could win the Libertadores, Brasileirao, Carioca… everything!’
Former Juventus midifelder appeared to rule out a move to Chelsea after revealing that he would play only for Champions League team.
‘If I change my team it’s going to be for the better, to fight for the Champions League, win titles, fight for important things.’
