The Birmingham Mail reports that West Brom new manager, Alan Pardew, is looking to add two Liverpool players on loan during the January transfer window.
According to the report, former Crystal Palace head-coach is very keen on bringing in Liverpool’s injury prone forward Danny Ings, a striker he was reportedly looking to sign back in 2015 when he was in charge of Newcastle United, however, former Burnley player opted with making the switch to Anfield.
The 25-year-old forward has only featured once so far this campaign under Jurgen Klopp and will be allowed to leave the club in order to play regular first-team football elsewhere, so Pardew could finally get the striker who eluded him almost two years ago.
The second Liverpool player Pardew is looking to add West Brom’s squad is Marko Grujic who has made five appearances for Liverpool this campaign and 13 in total since making the switch to Anfield back in 2016 from Red Star Belgrade.
Both Liverpool players are desperate to play regular first-team football, and the Reds could allow them to leave the club on a short loan spell in the Winter.
