Liverpool defensive rock Mamadou Sakho has been heavily linked with an exit from Anfield after failing to play a single minute of the Premier League football this term and desperate to leave the Merseyside Reds during the January transfer window.
Paris Saint-Germain have been heavily linked with signing Frenchman, and the Ligue 1 defending champions President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has claimed that he has been a huge fan of 26-year-old Liverpool defender, however, ruled out the move for his signature in January.
In December, Klopp confirmed that the France international is no longer part of his first-team plans, while PSG’s president has now revealed that the defender is not on the club’s radar.
‘I love Mamadou Sakho as a player and as a person, too,’ Al-Khelaifi told Infosport+
‘But we have not spoken to him.’
The 26-year-old hasn’t featured at all for Jurgen Klopp’s side this term the transfer seems to be on cards as 26-year-old star is deperate to play first team football, Liverpool Premier League rival West Ham United have expressed interest for Sakho earlier in November and could try to lure him at London Stadium.
