Bayern Munich are preparing for life without Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, and they are ready to join Arsenal and Manchester United in the race for Portuguese sensation Gelson Martins.
Both Robben and Ribery set to become free agents after the end of the current campaign, and German giants are considering alternative options to strengthen their attacking force.
German source Bild claims that Bayern have sent scouts to keep close tabs on Sporting Lisbon winger ahead of a summer move.
Scouts from Manchester United, Arsenal were also present for Sporting’s win over Tondela in order to check out Gelson Martins who has been valued at £53m by Portuguese giants.
Martins’ agent Ulisses Santos has confirmed that hosts of European heaviweights are considering move for Gelson Martins this summer.
“Gelson is a player who is wanted by many clubs in the Premier League, La Liga, he is even admired by some Bundesliga sides. His future? As a professional, he must be ready for any eventuality, regardless of whether that is to stay in Lisbon or move elsewhere.”
Arsenal are in need to sign a new winger after the end of the current campaign following the exit of Alexis Sanchez, while Man Utd are also in danger to lose Anthony Martial this campaign.
