Chelsea and Manchester United keen on to sign Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose, according to reports.
The 27-year-old left-back, who has missed the start of 2017/18 campaign through injury, has been one of the best defenders in England in the recent years and could secure a big move this summer.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Red Devils have long been linked with signing Rose and are ready to try again to lure him at Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old could easily become a starter at Old Trafford, and it gives the Red Devils advantage over Chelsea.
The Daily Mirror reported last month that Man Utd are ready to offer Luke Shaw in exchange of Danny Rose.
Rose notably criticised Spurs back in August in an interview with the Sun after claiming that he could secure a big move to finally win the title.
‘Time is running out, and I do want to win trophies,’ he said. ‘I don’t want to play football for 15 years and not have one trophy or one medal.’
The Red Devils could also be boosted by Rose’s desire to play up north,
“I will say this too — I will play up north. I don’t know exactly when, but I will get back up north and play some football somewhere.’ said Rose to Sun.
