Chelsea are preparing a summer move to sign Everton midfielder Tom Davies, according to reports.
Davies had a breakthrough season at Goodison Park last term, securing regular first-team action under Roland Koeman, however, being linked with a Stamford Bridge move following the upcoming campaign.
According to The Sun reports, Chelsea considering a swoop for the highly-rated Englishman who has impressed last season.
It’s believed that Tom Davies has emerged on Conte’s wishlist alongside with Virgil van Dijk, Alex Sandro, Antonio Candreva and Fernando Llorente.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is believed to have given the Italian tactician around £250million on new signings ahead of 2017/18 season.
The Premier League champions missed out on Davies’ former Everton team-mate, Romelu Lukaku, and his midfield partner Ross Barkley who is believed to closing in on the move to Arsenal.
Belgium international forward has joined the Red Devils for £75m earlier this month which saw Alvaro Morata heading to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have also been linked with the signing of Tom Davies teammate Bakley who has entered n his final year at Goodison Park but the Everton’s asking £50m-tag has forced Antonio Conte’s side to cool their interest for his signature.
