Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim has claimed that the French champions would be willing to sell Thomas Lemar for the right price.
Jardim believes that the latest £142m sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona proves that every club can get a player they want when the price is right.
AS Monaco boss is believed to oversee a 200th game as Monaco head-coach against Montpellier this weekend with 22-year-old Lemar has been strongly linked with a possible move Liverpool and Arsenal.
“You know how crazy the market can be,” Jardim said.
“Things can happen that even a club like Monaco can’t say no to.
“It happened at Liverpool. The figures today are very high. Everything can change very quickly. What I tell you today can be different tomorrow. ”
“I want to keep Lemar. If I stayed here for ten years, I’d want Lemar to stay with me for ten years.
“He’s young. He could play for another decade. He’s got a lot of qualities, and I like him a lot.”
Liverpool have already lost Philippe Coutinho while Arsenal are also on the verge to sell their star player Alexis Sanchez to their direct Premier League rivals Manchester City and Lemar seems to be an ideal addition to both English heavyweights.
