Atletico Madrid star has been one of the best goalies in world football since joining them from Benfica bac kin 2014, and he’s conceded just 18 goals in La Liga thus far sitting second in the table behind Barcelona.
The 25-year-old has also registered an impressive 26 clean sheets, Diego Someone’s side are through to the semi-finals of the Europa League where they will face Arsenal.
The Slovenian international’s outstanding form has caught the eye from Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool with both of them are on a look out for a world-class goalkeeper in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Gunners need to find a long-term replacement for Petr Cech who will turn 35 and his clumsy mistakes have already cost points to Arsene Wenger’s side thus the term,
Liverpool are also expected to be in the market for a new keeper following the poor form Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.
However, Slovenian goalkeeper won’t come cheap as the Mirror claim his buyout clause is set at £87.5m [€100m] and Atletico Madrid will demand full prise in order to let their star player leave the team in the summer.
