Liverpool are said to be in “advanced discussions” with Olympique Lyonnais defender Jordy Gaspar, who is currently yet to sign a professional contract.
French media outlet TF1 reckon the Merseysiders are holding discussions with the U20 France international, who can play both as a right-back and a left-back, though, is on a deal that is set to expire at the end of the season.
AC Milan are also interested in the 19-year-old, made his debut in the Champions League against Sevilla in September last year. However, the report suggests that Liverpool holding a slight edge over Italian club at the present moment.
“The player and his entourage are in advanced discussions with AC Milan and Liverpool, who have sent several proposals,” another French outlet Telefoot claim.
“Fiorentina and Bayer Leverkusen are also interested, to a lesser extent.”
Now it is up to youngster to decide whether he will opt to continue his journey with Ligue 1 club or choose to move to a new club to advance his career.
