According to the reports from France, Premier league giants Liverpool are in the hunt to sign French club Lyon highly-rated full-back Jordy Gaspar.
French outlet L’Equipe reported that the German manager Jurgen Klopp had been a huge admirer of Gaspar, and he could sign him in the summer with late mover for the Frenchman.
It is believed that Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in the Lyon prospect, and Liverpool will face tough competition from the German side.
Former Borussia Dortmund manager has completed seven signings in the summer transfer window so far but has recently admitted that the transfer window isn’t over for the Reds, and new faces could arrive at Anfield.
Loris Karius moved to the Merseyside rEds in a £4.7m deal from Bundesliga outfits Mainz earlier this summer before Klopp wrapped up the £30m transfer of Sadio Mane to Liverpool from Southampton and latest £25m signing Georginio Wijnaldum alongside with Grujic, Ragnar Klavan and Axel Meanner.
