Liverpool have reportedly agreed to sell Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
The Catalan giants pursued the South American attacker during the last summer transfer window. However, it is reported that the Merseyside Reds turned down three bids from Barcelona.
Widespread reports have suggested that the highest offer was around £100m. However, the Reds stood firm and kept hold of the Brazilian midfielder, who agreed to sign a new long-term deal with the Merseyside Club.
According to Mundo Deportivo, despite fending off interest from the Catalan giants during the summer transfer window, it is believed that the Spanish giants are ready to try once again to lure the Brazilian defender at Nou Camp.
Following a bout of injury and illness, Brazilian attacker has only made six appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside Reds and has found the net for three times adding one more assist as well.
With injury problems of Sadio Mane, it was believed that Liverpool would keep their star player at Anfield before the end of the season, however, the Reds are now ready to allow unhappy Brazilian star to leave the club.
