Barcelona forward Ousemane Dembele has responded to rumours linking him with a switch to Arsenal.
The 20-year-old winger has signed for Barcelona last season from German giants Borussia Dortmund for a fee in the region of €105m.
The France international forward was suffered a serious hamstring injury during his debut season for the Cataln giants.
Dembele has recently returned to full fitness and is fighting to secure regular first-team football under Ernesto Valverde.
However, Dembele has been unable to cement his spot in the Catalan’s starting XI and rumours have linked with a swtich to Premier League giants Arsenal.
But Dembele has since moved to rubbish those rumours claiming that he plans to remain at Nou Camp for a long-time.
“I’m not going to leave after just one season,” he told Telefoot.
“I signed a five-year contract with Barcelona.
“I’ll be here for a long time.”
Dembele also explained that it may take a little time before he can return to his best form.
“I’m not at the top of my game right now,” he added.
”Little by little, I will return to my best.
“I’m working on my cardio, because I get tired very quickly.
“In Barcelona I have a better lifestyle than in Dortmund.
“I didn’t have a healthy lifestyle in Germany and I didn’t get injured.
“So it’s not because of that.”
