Antonio Conte was offered £106m (€120million) by Inter Milan to quit Chelsea this summer.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Serie A club’s billionaire owner, Jindong Zhang, was ready to offer Antonio Conte a 10-year-deal €12m (£10.6m) per season.
Serie A giants had also promised that Italian would be handed money to sign any players he wants.
It’s believed that Italian tactician was given his first concrete proposal by Serie A giants back in May. However, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic has blocked Conte’s return to Italy.
Inter have since signed former Roma man Luciano Spalletti as their new head-coach.
Conte, meanwhile, is on holiday in Bergeggi, after leading Chelsea to their second Premier League title in last three years.
According to reports from Italy, Chelsea boss was asked by a fan of Inter Milan if he was heading to the San Siro this summer.
‘Unfortunately, Spalletti has already signed,’ was Conte’s alleged reply.
