Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane has claimed that there is no problem between Jurgen Klopp and him.
The initial speculation regarding the apparent friction between the pair after their 1-1 draw with defending Premier League champions, Chelsea, last weekend, where, following the full-time whistle, the Senegalese international was seen to be rather unhappily animated as German manager placed his arm around him.
It was reported that the 25-year-old star had been left displeased with his lack of involvement in the important game against Chelsea where he has been a late substitute.
However, in an exclusive interview with William Gallas, former Saints forward dispelled those rumours, and insisted there is no issue between Klopp and himself.
“Jurgen Klopp is like my father”, the pacey winger told French publications outlet SFR.
The Senegalese international defender has joined Liverpool for a £37m fee for back in 2015 when Jurgen Klopp has arrived at Anfield.
Since then Mane has scored 18 goals in his 43 games for Liverpool in all competitions and has become an instrumental part of the Merseyside Reds.
Liverpool supporters may well have been worried when they saw the animated conversation between the two following the Blues draw. However, it sounds as though the relationship between the Mane and Klopp is as good as it has ever been.
