Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly keen on to sign Spanish winger Lucas Vazquez this summer and have made enquiries over his availability.
According to Diario Madridista, Arsenal are yet to make a bid but have identified Spaniard as an alternative for Thomas Lemar.
Vazquez would be considerably cheaper than French winger to bring at Emirates Stadium. However, Arsene Wenger’s side will face a tough competition from their Premier League rivals Liverpool.
The Merseyside Reds head-coach Jurgen Klopp is keen on to strengthen his attacking options for the new 2017/18 season, while Serie A giants Roma are seeking a replacement for Egypt international winger Mohamed Salah, who signed for the Merseyside Reds this summer.
The Gunners have three wide-men up in the air which could lead to them bringing in Vazquez, especially if they fail to lure Lemar at Emirates Stadium.
Alexis Sanchez continues to be linked with Paris Saint-German and Manchester City, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool, while Theo Walcott has been rumoured with a switch to Everton.
Meanwhile, another Real Madrid star Marco Asensio has been a target for both MArsenal and Liverpool.
