On-loan Liverpool forward Sheyi Ojo has said that he is keen on to play regular first-team football at Fulham to help them to clinch promotion to the English top tier, despite much of his spell at the club being marred by injury.
The Merseyside Reds winger was out for two months after dislocating his shoulder early in the campaign, before facing another six weeks on sidelines due to a leg injury back in January.
However, the English wonderkid has featured in the Cottagers last four games, including a 2-1 victory at Preston North End last weekend.
“It’s been a difficult time for me, being injured for so long, but I’m happy to be back and playing now,” Ojo told the club’s official website. “I’d like to be playing more but I’ve got to be patient, and hopefully I’ll start to get more game time.
“It’s been a tough spell for us. We played a lot of great teams, but we’ve come through it well. We haven’t lost in 15 games; we’re in right form now, so we’ve got to keep it up.
“Preston was a massive win for us. We have good momentum now in our push for promotion. On Saturday we’ll be trying to get another three points against QPR.”
Fulham are currently fourth in the Championship table and have an excellent chance to secure promotion to English top-tier.
