Roma stopper Alisson Becker has emerged as a shock transfer target for Chelsea, according to the latest reports from Italy.
The Brazil international goalie is believed to be on the radar of hosts of European clubs including Chelsea’s bitter Premier League rivals Liverpool who are in the market for Loris Karius long-term replacement after German’s terrible error’s in the Champions League final.
Meanwhile, Blues stopper Thibaut Courtois has made no secret over his desire to make a return to Spanish capital where he spent three years at Atletico Madrid.
According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues are aware that the UCL champions Real Madrid are interested in both goalkeepers Alisson and Courtois, and could strike a deal to send Courtois to the Bernabeu and Brazilian star to Stamford Bridge.
The report also states that Maurizio Sarri, who is expected ot arrive at Chelsea as Antonio Conte’s successor has been a huge fan of AS Roma keeper.
Liverpool are also credited with an interest in another Rome-based team’s goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha, who is believed to be valued at £30m.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are also keeping tabs on AC Milan’s stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma who has been heavily linked with San Siro exit ahead of the next season.
