Arsenal remain keen on to sign Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez for £30m in January with their bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move.
The North London duo were both linked with signing Algerian winger during the summer transfer window. However, the deal has never been materialised, and Mahrez has stayed at King Power Stadium.
Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare claimed that Mahrez would not be sold unless his valuation, £45m has been met from any club.
Serie A giants Roma have also been rumoured with a move for Mahrez but they fell short with a rumoured fourth offer of £32m, however, the Mirror suggests that Tottenham and Arsenal will try their luck in January and lure Algerian winger to the North.
The 26-year-old attacker was dropped to the bench for the goalless draw with the Cherrier before the international break, Algerian forward has been named a PFA player of the year in Leicester City’s historical 2015/16 campaign when they were crowned as Englands champions.
The report suggests that the Foxes chief Shakespeare will be less reluctant to offload him in January.
