Serie A champions Juventus are ready to hijack Arsenal move for Sampdoria forward Patrik Schick.
The Gunners have been monitoring the Czech forward during his first campaign in founding the net for 11 times in 32 appearances following his switch from Sparta Prague last summer
Italian champions Juventus have set their sights on signing Sampdoria’s forward this summer and reports in Italy have suggested that a move to the Allegri’s side has been on the cards.
According to the reports from Italy, Juve have reached an agreement to sign the striker on a season-long loan deal before making his switch to Turin permanent.
Arsenal have also been in the market for the new frontmen following rumours linking Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud with an exit from Emirates Stadium, while German giants Borussia Dortmund are in the market for Pierre-Emerick Aubamayang long-term replacement.
Juventus are believed to agreed deal with the Sampdoria, and they will pay around £26.5m, which is more than striker’s release clause, but first Schmick has to impress Italian champions to make his switch permanent.
Meanwhile, Arsenal remain hopeful that they will reach an agreement with Alexis Sanchez over contract extension following recent rumours linking him with Chelsea move.
