Manchester United and Arsenal have made contract offers to talented Dutch defender Melayro Bogarde, according to the reports.
The 15-year-old defender will be in a position to sign his first ever professional contract as soon as he turns 16 later this month and hosts of European clubs are monitoring the situation, according to The Guardian.
Bogarde is rated as one of the brightest talents in Europe and Man City head-coach Pep Guardiola has identified him as the next “John Stones”
Manchester City, who wrapped up the Premier League title last campaign, have invited Bogarde and his family to visit their club academy in order to convince him to make a move to Citizens, while Arsenal and Man Utd have also approached for his signature.
The Red Devils will hope good relations with Dutch club Feyenoord puts them in pole position to secure his signature – the club signed Tahith Chong from them back in 2016.
With a number of Premier League clubs interested in securing his signature, Bogarde is expected to decide where to continue his career after the end of the current camaign.
Arsneal and Man Utd re all believed to have scouted the youngster extensively this term, while RB Leipzig are also keen on to lure him in Bundesliga.
