Former Chelsea captain John Terry has reportedly agreed to sign for Championship club Aston Villa.
According to the sources close to the club is believed that the move is expected to be finalised over the weekend.

The 36-year-old centre-back is a free agent after his deal with the Blues expired earlier this summer.

Terry considered hanging up his boots, however, former England international captain is keen on to continue playing football on a high level and Villa Park expected to be his next destination.
A number of clubs at home and abroad had expressed interest in Chelsea her, Bournemouth had been mentioned as clear favourites to sign the 36-year-old defender, however, it seems that the Villians have won the race for his signature.
Terry will become Villa’s first summer signing for Villian if he completes switching this weekend and is expected to sign a one-year deal at the club.
