Serie A Giants Roma centre-back Kostas Manolas is one of the hottest prospects in Europe, and his name has been linked with a move to several big clubs at the end of the current campaign.
AS Roma’s financial struggles will force them to sell one of their big names during the summer transfer window and the Greece International is believed to be the player who will be leaving the Stadio Olimpico.
Inter Milan are in pole position to sign the 24-year-old centre-back who has been valued around € 50 million by his club.
However, the player’s agent Ioannis Evangelopulos, during his interview has revealed interest from top European clubs including Chelsea and Real Madrid.
“There are many speculations regarding his future. Juventus, Barcelona, PSG, Chelsea and Manchester United are rumoured to be interested, and every day there is one new club interested. There are no news about his contract extension. The only thing I can say is that his contract expires in 2019 and that he’s a player of AS Roma, for the moment.”
Chelsea defensive end looks solid, however, signing world-class defender in the summer could help Premier League giants to fight for all possible trophies for the next season.
