West Ham United are plotting a £17m move for Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore, according to the reports.
The 21-year-old Chelsea forward has spent the last couple of seasons away from Stamford Bridge, on loan with Eredivisie giants Ajax.
He’s impressed during his stint with the Dutch giants where he has found the net for nine times in all competitions and led the team to the Europe-League final.
Burkina Faso international will have a battle on his hands if he plans to secure the first-team role under Antonio Conte as Italian manager is expected to splash the cash again this summer to sign a quality replacement for Diego Costa.
Everton forward Romelu Lukaku has been identified as an ideal replacement for Spaniard.
And, with Traore’s future at Chelsea in serious doubt, the Mirror labelled West Ham United as the next destination for African forward.
Recently Traore claimed that he is keen on to remain at Stamford Bridge.
Traore said: “That’s my hope.
“I will go away with the national team and after that take some rest. Then I will go back to Chelsea and have a talk. We will see.
“That was the key when I came to Ajax, play as many [games] as I could, do well, and try to go back to Chelsea.
“I think I had a great season, but I don’t decide to stay at Chelsea or move. I will see what my future will be.”
