Champions League runner-ups Atletico Madrid striker Yannick Carrasco has recently been linked with a switch to Chelsea all summer long, but Belgian forward himself has expressed his desire to extend his stay at Atletico Madrid.
“I will be here until 2020, and I wish I could be here [even] longer. I am good here at Atleti.” Said Carrasco with Sky Sports.
As Per Mirror, Chelsea are interested in signing the Belgium international striker, but LosRojiblancos are hoping to secure his future with a new bumper deal with a bigger release clause than his current £35 million.
The pacey forward is an excellent dribbler and one of the best performers in Serie A thus far as he uses his quick feet to evade opponents and terrorise defences. His skills often make him a target for the opposition, and he draws plenty of fouls in dangerous areas, too.
Belgium international striker stand to create more chances, but he is improving in that regard on last year.
